You will find login information on the SMS you received after check-in and on the information sheet hanging by the front door of your apartment.

Where do I check in?2024-07-16T14:13:38+02:00

Your room/apartment will be cleaned and ready for check-in from 15:00. You can check in any time after 15.00 and throughout the day.

You can check in at our check-in machines at Skovveien 8, Bygdøy allé 53, Helgesens gate 1, Arbins gate 3 or Huitfeldts gate 19.

When you arrive at the building, ring the bell if the door is not open and we will open the door for you. Inside the building you will find a check-in machine, where you enter your name or reference number.
If you have not paid for your booking in advance, you pay by card at the machine. We do not accept cash.
Finally, you will receive a key card and information about your apartment by SMS and email.

If you arrive by public transportation:

Frogner House Skovveien 8: This address has a check-in machine
From the airport: If you arrive in Oslo by airplane, get off at Nationaltheatret station and choose the Parkveien exit. From there it's about a 10-minute walk to Skovveien 8. See directions. If you prefer a taxi from Nationaltheatret station, choose the other exit.

From the city center: Tram no. 12 (get off at Niels Juels gate), tram no. 13 and bus no. 30 and 31, get off at Solli plass, from there it is a 5-minute walk to the reception.

Frogner House Bygdøy allé 53: This address has a check-in machine
From the airport: If you arrive in Oslo by airplane, get off at Nationaltheatret station, choose the exit towards Parkveien. From there, it's a five-minute walk to Solli plass where you can take bus 30/31 - Stop: Frogner Kirke. If you prefer a taxi from Nationaltheatret, choose the other exit.

From the city center: Bus no. 30 and 31 stop close by. Then get off at the stop called Frogner Kirke, from there it takes less than 1 minute to walk to the reception.

Frogner House Nationaltheatret: Arbins gate 3 - this address has a check-in machine.
If you arrive in Oslo by Flytoget, get off at Nationaltheatret station and exit towards Parkveien. From there it is a five-minute walk to the address.

From the city center: Bus no. 31 (Snarøya) from Tollboden to Nationaltheatret. From there it is a 5-minute walk to the address.

Frogner House Grünerløkka: Helgesens gate 1 - this address has a check-in machine
From the airport: If you arrive in Oslo by Flytoget, get off at Oslo Central Station, choose the main exit towards Oslo S. Then take tram no. 11, 12 or 18 from Jernbanetorget to Birkelunden. From there it is a 7-minute walk to the address.

From the city center: Take tram no. 11, 12 or 18 from Jernbanetorget to Birkelunden. From there it is a 7-minute walk to the address.

Frogner House Vika: Huitfeldtsgate 19 - this address has a check-in machine.
If you arrive in Oslo by Flytoget, get off at Nationaltheatret station and exit towards Parkveien. From there it is a five-minute walk to the address. From the city center: Tram no. 12 (Majorstuen) from Jernbanetorget to Ruseløkka. From there, it's less than a five-minute walk to the address.

In Skovveien 8 and Bygdøy alle 53 it is possible to store luggage for a shorter period. Storage of luggage is at your own risk.

Check-in is guaranteed from 15:00 and check-out no later than 11:00. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and must be arranged with the Service Office on the same day. Remember that in the event of an extension, you must visit the Service Office in Skovveien 8 to update your key.

You can either book your stay on our online booking or contact us directly by email or phone. If you have a contract price or gift card, please contact us directly.

Should you wish to extend your stay, please contact us. We will be more than happy to help you.
Remember that you need to come by the Service Office to update your key cards.

Can I cancel or change my reservation?2023-07-27T10:50:51+02:00

If you have booked through a third party, all changes and cancellations must be made through them.

If your booking is made through our website, you can easily cancel by logging in to your profile on frognerhouse.no.

If the booking is made directly with us, please contact us.

The cancellation and change conditions must be stated in the confirmation you have received. All cancellations must be made in writing.

Will I receive a confirmation of my reservation?2021-09-02T07:37:57+02:00

Yes, you will receive a confirmation email. It is important that you review this and make sure it is correct. If something is not correct, please contact us as soon as possible. If you have booked through a travel agency, you will receive the confirmation from them.

How do I pay for my stay?2023-07-27T10:47:59+02:00

Payment is due at check-in at the latest. You can pay by card or by using VIPPS #78077. If you use VIPPS, please note the reservation number you have received from Frogner House Apartments (6 digits). We do not accept cash payment.

If the booking is non-refundable, payment has been made before check-in.

If you have a gift card you wish to use, please state this when you order.

If the stay is to be invoiced, this must be approved by our accounting department well in advance of arrival. We only invoice Norwegian-registered companies.

Guests must be over 18 years of age to book and check in with us on weekdays. On weekends and public holidays, the age limit is 25 years. Other guests in the party may be under the age limit.

Frogner House reserves the right to refuse persons according to our general terms and conditions.

Do I need to pay a deposit?2021-09-02T07:37:57+02:00

We reserve the right to take a deposit. The deposit will be released upon check-out. Please note that it may take a couple of days for the amount to be fully cleared. It depends on which bank you use.

We do not take cash deposits, only credit and debit cards.

We do not require a deposit for bookings that are guaranteed by a company.

If you work for a company in need of accommodation in Oslo, we can offer contract prices. Contact us for a non-binding offer.

Is cleaning of the apartment during my stay included?2024-07-16T14:08:23+02:00

Yes, we have normal hotel service and wash and clean your room. We change towels every 3 days and bed linen every 6 days.

However, if you are staying for more than 30 consecutive days, you must clean the apartment yourself during your stay unless you wish to purchase this service. You can read more about this and order it under Additional services.

Will you provide extra consumables such as toilet paper, garbage bags, etc.2023-07-27T10:42:57+02:00

For regular shorter stays, normal hotel service applies. Here we change towels every 3 days, and new bed linen every 6 days. On these service days, we replenish paper, soap and empty rubbish.

If you stay continuously for longer periods (over 30 days) in one of our serviced apartments, you can order cleaning of the apartment from our additional services, then in addition to the cleaning, we will provide; toilet paper, garbage bags, sponge, cloth and kitchen towel.

For long-term stays (over 30 days), consumables such as soap and washing tablets are not replenished. More information about our cleaning services can be found here. For booking, please contact us.

Do you change bedding and towels during your stay?2023-07-27T10:41:37+02:00

For stays of less than 30 nights, we will change towels every 3 days and change bed linen every 6 days. We also take the garbage with us when we visit.

For stays over 30 days, this is not included with us, but this is an extra service that you can book if desired. If you book cleaning during your stay, this will be changed.

What do I do if I lose my key or get locked out of my apartment?2024-07-16T14:07:20+02:00

We use electronic key cards, and if you lose one of these, or are locked out of the apartment, you can get help from our Service office in Skovveien 8 (Oslo). Contact us if you need help.

If you need help from our night guards to get in (between 23.00-08.00), there will be a night guard surcharge of NOK 1,000.

Where can I get my mail sent?2024-07-16T14:06:52+02:00

Several of our addresses have their own mailboxes: Underhaugsveien 15, Frydenlundgata 2A, Camilla Collets 19, Colbjørnsens gate 3, Colbjørnsens gate 4, Huitfeldtsgate 19 and Helgesens gate 1.

You can mark your mailbox during your stay, just remember to unmark it when you check out.

If you have something of greater value or live at an address without a mailbox, you can send mail to our Service Office. We will then contact you when the mail arrives, and you can pick it up at the Service Office.

What should I do if the fire alarm goes off?2023-07-27T10:15:37+02:00

As a guest, you are obliged to familiarize yourself with Frogner House Apartments fire instructions. An overview of escape routes can be found near your front door. If the fire alarm sounds, it is important that you exit the apartment and stand and wait outside the building until one of our staff gives the all-clear signal. Under no circumstances should you try to turn off the alarm yourself or disconnect the smoke detector from your apartment.

Any attempt to dismantle smoke detectors in your apartment may result in you being held liable for all damages and consequences if a fire occurs in your apartment or building.

When should it be quiet?2023-07-27T10:14:46+02:00

The apartment must be quiet between 23:00 and 07:00. No noise, loud music and partying are not allowed in our apartments. Violation of our rules may result in eviction and a fine for disturbance.

Do you have stalls or storage for a longer period of time?2024-07-16T14:05:46+02:00

In Underhaugsveien 15 and Huitfeldts gate 19, we have stalls that we can rent out for a longer period. We also have an agreement for our guests with a professional storage operator that is recommended. Contact us to check availability and further information or see our additional services.

Do I need to clean the apartment before check-out?2021-12-17T15:20:12+01:00

We will clean your apartment when you check out. All you need to do is make sure that you have brought your personal belongings (clothes, food, toiletries, etc.) and disposed of all trash. We appreciate if you fill and start the dishwasher before you leave the apartment.

For stays over 30 days, there will be a fixed laundry fee added to the bill charged at check-in.

Do I need to come to the Serivce office to check out?2021-12-17T15:20:12+01:00

When you check out, you don't need to come back to our service office. You can leave your key cards in the mailbox marked "Express check-out" at the main entrance of the address where you live.

I've left something in the apartment!2024-07-16T14:04:07+02:00

Contact us if you have forgotten something. We will look for it and let you know as soon as possible, whether it has been found or not. If we find it, we can resend it for a fee, or you can come and collect it from us at Skovveien 8 in Oslo. We keep forgotten items for 3 months. Please note that we do not keep food and drink for hygiene reasons. We also do not keep soap/shampoo/conditioner.

Frogner House Apartments has several different addresses in Oslo, and you will find us in the areas: Frogner, Vika, Majorstuen, Grünerløkka and Bislett. All our apartments are located a short distance from public transport and the city's amenities.

Several of our buildings have an elevator, but some are small. There may be stairs and level differences before you reach the elevator.

You will find an elevator in:
- Skovveien 8
- Underhaugsveien 15 (elevator directly from the entrance),
- Arbins gate 3 - Staircase B (no elevator in staircase A),
- Huitfeldts gate 19
- Oscars gate 86 (elevator directly from the entrance)
- Camilla Collets vei 19
- Frydenlundgata 2
- Arbins gate will get a new elevator in the spring of 2024

All rooms and apartments have a kitchenette with the most necessary glassware, crockery and kitchen utensils. In the larger apartments there is a fully equipped kitchen. No matter what type of apartment you stay in, you will always have the opportunity to cook your own meal.

Unfortunately, we do not have any apartments adapted for the disabled right now. Please feel free to contact us as there may be apartments that still suit your needs.

We allow this at most of our addresses, except Skovveien 8, Bygdøy alle 53, Huitfeldts gate 19 and Helgesens gate 1.

If you are bringing a pet, there is an additional charge for extra cleaning to maintain a hypoallergenic environment.
Stays under 14 days: 850 NOK (one-time fee)
Stays over 14 days: 3,500 NOK (one-time fee)

If you wish to bring animals, this must be approved before arrival. Please contact us.

No, smoking is prohibited in all our apartments. We charge a fee of NOK 5,000 if smoking is allowed in one of our apartments.

Yes, we offer breakfast delivered to your doorstep.

Breakfast is provided by Samson Bakeri, Oslo's oldest bakery.

To order, please contact us.

Breakfast can be ordered up until 16:00 the day before and left outside your door in the morning, from 07:15 on weekdays and 09:00 on weekends. Breakfast cannot be ordered at special times.

We also offer vegetarian and gluten-free breakfast packages, but not the option to include specific foods. Read more about this under additional services.

Is it possible to book an extra bed / cot / highchair?2024-07-16T13:54:36+02:00

We prepare beds based on the number of people your reservation is for. If you want extra beds, cots or highchairs, this is possible at most of our addresses:

Extra bed: Kr. 220 kroner per night

Crib: Kr. 220 kroner per night

High chair: Kr. 50 kroner per night

Contact us and we will arrange this before you check in. If you let us know upon arrival, we cannot guarantee that we have this available.

We cannot add extra beds at the following addresses: Frydenlundgata 2 and Camilla Collets vei 19. These addresses can only accommodate guests based on the beds available in the apartment.

Parking in Oslo

There is street parking in the areas around all our addresses. Here you must check the signs to see if parking is permitted and how long you can stay parked.

There are also several parking garages in the Solli, Vika and Bislett areas. The parking garages around the city are owned and operated by different companies, so check their websites for more information, Europark, OnePark and Aimo Park.

It is also possible to book parking in the backyard of Underhaugsveien 15. For long-term parking at this address, please check availability and book on the website leieparkering.no. For short-term parking, download the app "ParkID".

We also have a small number of parking spaces for rent at Oscars gate 86 and Huitfeldts gate 19. The price is NOK 400 per day or NOK 3500 per month. Parking spaces are offered if we have availability, so pleasecontact us if you want to book.

Laundry facilities are available at all our addresses, either in the room/apartment or in a shared laundry room. Use of washing machines is free of charge. Irons and ironing boards are available in all apartments. You buy your own detergent.

We have free Wi-Fi and cable TV. There are of course bed linen and towels in the apartment on arrival, as well as a soap and shampoo dispenser. We change towels every 3 days and bed linen every 6 days. We also take the garbage with us when we first visit. Of course, we wash after check-out.

However, if you are staying continuously for more than 30 days, cleaning of the apartment is not included but can be ordered as an additional service. Read more about our additional services.

You will also find a hairdryer, iron and ironing board in the apartment, and all our addresses have access to free use of a washing machine, either in the apartment or in common areas. You can cook in all apartments. None of the apartments have a telephone. The exception here is the hotel The Villa, where there is no washing machine or kitchen in the rooms.
